Résumé:This is a proposal to conduct a study on knowledge, attitudes and perception of HIV positive teenagers towards childbearing at the light house in Lilongwe district. In this proposal literature review on studies done worldwide, in Africa and Malawi; relating to this study to be conducted are included. The conceptual framework to be used in the study is the Health Belief Model that looks at why some people take specific actions to prevent a disease or condition and some do not. The research study methodology is a qualitative and a sample of 10 will be used where each one will be giving his/her views subjectively relevant to the questions that will be used since an interview guide will be used to solicit information. In order to conduct the study in respect of human dignity, integrity and authority, ethical considerations will be taken into account.
