總結:Skin diseases among most of the populations are regarded as not serious as such they are not regarded as significant problem. The aim of this study is to expropriate the hygienic practices of guardians caring for children with communicable skin diseases at Kamuzu Central Hospital. The specific objectives of the study include: To assess knowledge of guardians on the transmission of skin diseases. To identify the care that guardians render to their children with skin diseases. To assess hygienic measures that are taken to prevent transmission. To explore perception of guardians caring for children with skin diseases. The study will use a descriptive qualitative research design. In-depth interviews will be used to collect data using an interview guide. 15 participates will be asked to participate willingly in the study. The rights of the participants and other ethical issues will be considered during the study. Data will be analysed manually and the findings of the study will be disseminated at KCN library and KCH.
