Sumario:The purpose of the study was to explore and describe the psychosocial experiences of client in Zomba Central Hospital gynecology ward. The objectives of the study were to establish the experiences of the women with obstetric fistula. The study used a qualitative design. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from participants. In total a sample size of 5 participants from Zomba Central Hospital was recruited. The inclusion criteria was obstetric fistula clients admitted to gynacoelogical ward. Data was collected by means of in-depth interview. The interviews were written as the clients were interviewed. Data was analysed used qualitative methods and narrative descriptive summaries were used to present the data. The study showed that women came into the health systems from home, traditional birth attendants, health centre and district hospitals.
