Sumari:Euthanasia means assisted suicide. The name is derived from the Greek word eu and thanatos, meaning literally, a good death and some understood it to mean mercy killing (Pattinson, 2006). This study was 1 aimed at identifying knowledge, attitudes as well as perceptions of nurses on Euthanasia. The study was "quantitative design. The pilot was done at Kamuzu College of Nursing, while the 1 main study was conducted at Kamuzu Central Hospital. A semi-structured questionnaire was used, and a randomly selected sample of 30 nurses were selected working in different departments of the KCH. Data has been analysed manually. On the results, majority of nurses were not in favour the practice of Euthanasia, due to reasons of religious faith as well as professional code of conduct of nurses.
