description This study aims at exploring women’s knowledge and practices of women with under-five children on home management of fever. Specifically, it aims at identifying the practices of women in managing fever at home, their knowledge on consequences of uncontrolled fever, whether they access any information about home management of fever and factors that may hinder them from managing fever while at home study will employ the qualitative study method and it will be conducted at Kamuzu Central Hospital. The subject will be women with under-five children and the sample will be fifteen. The significance of the study is to help health workers to have an insight on the cause of increased number of children who come to the hospital with fever and convulsions so that appropriate interventions can be employed such as health education on home management of fever. The data will be collected using a questionnaire and it will be analysed manually.
