Summary:The study aims at exploring the knowledge, attitude, and perception of men towards vasectomy. And in the study recommendations will also be made on strategies that can be put in place to facilitate vasectomy by men in Malawi. It will be a qualitative type of study guided by Pender's health promotion model, in which the descriptive study design will be used. The study will be conducted at Bwaila district hospital during which eighteen married men who accompany their wives to family planning clinic will be interviewed on issues related to the topic of study. The participants will be chosen on three consecutive days, six individuals everyday selected randomly. Consent will be sought from the participants before enrolling them into the study, and alt ethical issues will be put into consideration throughout the study. The data will be collected using a questionnaire and be analysed manually.
