Participants participated in the study where they were involved on an face-face interviews and data obtained was analysed manually using content analysis. The research finding has revealed
that most diabetic patients have little knowledge on diabetic foot neuropathy; fewer participants had poor perception on diabetic foot neuropathy especially on foot care practices. The findings of this study may help to prevent unnecessary foot problems due to neuropathy by ensuring that
health personnel provide enough information to diabetic patients. |
